Non-eventful day
Maria, my sis, did visit for a while. Just waiting for tomorrow. I have been given 4 days of Bulsufan and 2 days of Cytoxin and constant IV fluid intake. I had lost weight coming into this and I have swollen up a but due to this.
If you didn’t already know, Kimmi has been my roommate here. There is a padded bench/bed for her to sleep on at night. Last night we woke to a strange burning smell. Later to find out that it was most likely a helicopter that landed or took off from the heliport at the top of OHSU. Until we knew, we were racking our brains trying to discover if my CPAP was overheating, my cell on the charger or whatever.
Kim continues to be my ROCK during this. What a trooper! After I am discharged at the month, we will be residing i the Rood Family Pavillion where I have stayed already. The difference is the when I stayed before it was in rooms like a hotel room. Now, the room we will be staying will have a kitchen for Kim to cook for me since this will be required. Cooking, cleaning etc. I could also do chores. Setting the table, Putting away clean dishes, etc.
Malia came by and hung out for a bit and Maria soon after. Short visit. Maria is heading back to SD in a few hours and Malia brought Mahina. Kimmi hung out with her in the park nearby, tag-team, no one under 12 years.
Malia stopped by and arranged this collage just like from my first admittance.
