Always thinking!

Friday, October 25: No fevers all night - in fact for over 24 hours. Platelets: 1 Hemo: 6.5 WBC:>.15 - cells are working. Got platelets and red this am. Lost 4.8 pounds overnight and was able to eat 1/2 PB&J & oatmeal with brown sugar. Showered again without assistance - yes, this is quite a big task! Left the room for the 1st time since Day -2 (Oct. 7). Pretty crazy to think that it’s been impossible to even get up out of bed, other than for the necessary task of using the restroom. Walked just about a half a lap (not quite the 3 miles from the beginning) with a walker for assistance. All of this by 10:15 am. Rested the rest of the day!
