Day +27
Tuesday, November 5: Platelets: 6/11 Hemo: 8.7 WBC: 2.25. Fever ongoing, highest at 103. Was able to eat 1/2 of breakfast; banana/bran muffin and cream of rice. ID stopped the IV Vancomycin a day early as it could be attributing to the kidney issues. Physical & Occupational Therapy have been assigned in order to help get ready for hospital discharge and being able to function outside of the hospital. They have made their assessments and have approved the use of a walker +1 assistant in order to walk in the hall or within the room. Fevers got better later in the day; could be the omission of the Filgrastim or the administration of the steroids for ES. Platelets were transfused since the fevers were subsiding.
